01 / Context
The goal and project context
A website for an excavation-dewatering company selling, hiring and servicing wellpoint pumps. The audience is a site manager, so the content starts with the site problem — water in the excavation — and leads to the right equipment and contact rather than opening with a catalogue. Experience since 1988 is used as evidence, not decoration.
What needed to change
A site manager starts with water in an excavation, not with a pump model, and may need hire, purchase or service under time pressure.
02 / Design decision
From an intention to the next step
The site opens with the construction problem, separates sales, hire and service, and supports each route with applications, specifications and real site evidence.
Journey A
I need dewatering
- Identify the site problem
- Explore the service
- Ask about a solution
Journey B
I'm looking for equipment
- Choose sale or hire
- Review the equipment
- Make a specific enquiry
03 / Execution
Decisions carried into the details
Start with the construction-site problem
- A problem-led promise — we make the excavation dry — rather than an opening product list
- Five offer pages for dewatering, pump sales, service, hire and accessories
- Applications ranging from housebuilding to major construction projects
Equipment, cooperation and contact
- Hüdig presented as German engineering with Polish service rather than a logo
- Immediately available parts linked to the marketplace where some customers already buy
- Real site photography rather than catalogue renders
Scope / further detail
What was built
- 15 Ukrainian and 15 English pages for crews and international partners
- The related Skancraft brand made explicit rather than hiding the company structure

Verification date and method
Measured on the live site, 12 September 2026. Readings come from the checked public pages: browser loading measurements, axe-core accessibility checks, HTTP headers, the app manifest and sitemap. They describe the measured state rather than business outcomes. The verification scope depends on the capability shown.
How it is built
A technical website written in construction-site language: sales, hire and service are separated, the phone stays within thumb reach and concrete specifications replace general claims. Static generation and CDN delivery keep it fast.

What it led to
A customer can now move from the dewatering problem to the right equipment and a rapid contact path in Polish, Ukrainian or English.
