Kashubia, Kartuzy county

Websites Kashubia.

I live in Kiełpino near Kartuzy and run every project from here. If you are looking for someone to build your company a website, and would rather sit down and talk than trade emails with an office in another city, this is the page.

What a local builder actually gives you

Code comes out the same wherever the person writing it lives. The difference is the speed of decisions. On a business website the time goes not into programming but into working out what should be on it — and that moves far faster across a table than in the twentieth email in a row.

There is also the plain fact that you know who you are dealing with. For a service that runs for years — hosting and care are a relationship, not a one-off job — that matters more than it seems at the start.

Who I work with nearby

Small and mid-sized companies in Kartuzy, Kiełpino, Żukowo, Somonino, Chmielno and the neighbouring communes: workshops, clinics, contractors, service points, manufacturers and guest farms. Kashubia has its own character — many businesses are seasonal, and a good number have no website at all, only a Facebook page that does not show up in Google when someone searches for a specific service.

How working together looks

We start with a conversation — at your place, at mine, or by phone, whichever you prefer. For companies in Kartuzy county and nearby, driving over is not a problem. Then you get a written scope and a quote, and the work runs in stages with a live preview, so you see the site before it reaches its real address.

After launch there is hosting, backups, updates and small content changes, if you want to leave that with me. If not, you get full access and can move the site anywhere.

Visibility in local results

For a local service, half the game is not the website but the maps. Someone looking for a workshop or a clinic in their own town sees three business profiles in a box first, and ordinary results only underneath. So for local businesses I also set up what decides that box.

  • Google Business Profile and Bing Places, configured as a service-area business.
  • The same contact details everywhere — the site, the profile, directories.
  • Structured data stating where the business operates and what it does.
  • Copy that names a real service area instead of a list of a dozen villages.

Frequently asked questions

Will you come to me?

Within Kartuzy county and the neighbouring communes, yes, at no extra charge. Further across Pomerania we can still arrange it if the project is big enough for that to make sense for both of us.

Do you build a separate page for every village?

No, and I advise against it. A dozen near-identical pages for consecutive villages is a pattern search engines recognise and ignore, and at worst it drags down the rating of the whole site. One honest page and a properly described service area works better.

Do you only work locally?

No. Local is simply faster to agree on, but half my projects run remotely for companies across Poland.
