Services / websites

Business websites.

I design and build company websites end to end: from the conversation about why the site should exist, through content and design, to launch, hosting and long-term care. One person runs the whole thing, so nothing falls through the gap between a designer, a developer and a hosting company.

Start here

You have a real offer, but your website does not explain it yet — or you have no site at all.

Describe what you need

How the work is handled

  1. Plan

The goal, audience, structure and content. You receive a description of what will be built before design begins.

  2. Design and build

Layouts fitted to the offer, phone behavior and the features you need. You follow progress in a preview.

  3. Launch and ongoing care

Checks, SEO foundations, redirects and indexing review. Hosting and continuing care are agreed separately.

Who this is for

Companies with a real service that needs explaining clearly: clinics, workshops, manufacturers, offices, consultants, local service businesses. Most people who get in touch either have no site at all, or have one they can no longer update themselves.

What it covers

  • A conversation about the goal of the site and who should land on it — before any design exists.
  • Structure and content: what goes on the site, in what order, in what language.
  • A design made for your business, not a template with a thousand switches.
  • Build: a fast, light site that is technically correct and readable on a phone.
  • SEO basics from day one: titles, descriptions, structured data, sitemap, correct redirects.
  • Hosting, SSL, backups and ongoing care — if you would rather leave that with me.

How it actually goes

We start with a short conversation and a review of what you already have. Then you get a proposed structure and scope, so it is clear what is being built and what it consists of. Design and build run in stages with a live preview, so you see progress before anything reaches the real address.

After launch the site is not left alone: I set up Google Search Console, check indexing and stay reachable. Most of the sites I build I also keep running afterwards.

What this is not

I do not sell packages of fifteen subpages filled with text nobody reads, and I do not build on site builders you cannot later extend or move. If your problem can be solved by fixing the site you have instead of building a new one, I will say so.

What to prepare on your side

A useful starting point

Bring your current offer, customer questions and material you have rights to use. If copy or photographs still need producing, we will include that in scope. Stage dates also depend on material delivery and approvals.

Scope and responsibility

The website and access remain yours

Domain and hosting in your name, full access and code you can move. Care after launch is a choice, with its scope agreed before work begins.

Questions before we start

How long does a company website take?

Usually two to six weeks. The long pole is rarely the build — it is gathering copy and photos on the client side. If you have those ready, it moves much faster.

Can I edit the site myself afterwards?

Yes, if you want to — I set up an editing panel. Some clients prefer to send changes to me as part of ongoing care, which is equally fine.

Do you write the content too?

Yes. I can write it from scratch based on our conversation, or tighten up what you already have. A site nobody put real content into will not start working on its own.

What if I already have a site but it is outdated?

Then we start with a review. Sometimes rebuilding the key pages and fixing performance is enough, rather than starting over.
