TuningStore

About the project
A store for visual tuning parts. The working store section is available at /store while the wider project continues in stages. The catalogue emphasises clear categories and fast matching of a part to a specific car model.
What needed to change
Visual-tuning parts only make sense when they fit a specific model, year and version, while the broader catalogue is still being developed in stages.
How it was approached
The store begins with car selection, then narrows the catalogue through familiar categories and states the project's in-progress status openly.
What it led to
A shopper can reach compatible parts faster and complete a purchase in the working store without mistaking the staged rollout for a finished catalogue.
What was built
Car selection as the first step, with the catalogue adapting to the model
14 categories named the way tuning customers search
Product fitment by model year and version rather than brand alone
Basket and checkout kept on the site
Dedicated delivery, payment, return and complaints pages
A local tuning landing page for Gdańsk searches
Show the remaining build details +2
Featured and new products for visitors without a specific part in mind
The in-progress status stated openly instead of pretending the full range is ready
What this site can do
- Sells on the spot
TuningStore keeps the basket and the checkout in-house — nobody is handed to a different service mid-purchase.
- Findable by the neighboursaddress
Maps and search get address ready-made, so the business can surface for somebody searching nearby.
- Appears immediately0.37 s
The main content shows in 0.37 s — before anyone gets impatient and goes back to the search results.

How it is built
A custom store organised around matching a part to a specific car rather than generic search. The project is in progress, with the working store available at /store.
